I have went to the Golden Crown since I was a child (so over 40 years) and it hasn't changed in all those years. Always nostalgic visiting this restaurant, as entering instantaneously reminds of me of time spent with loved ones that have since passed. The food tastes the same as it did back then too. Clearly the BEST Chinese restaurant in Chatham!

We ordered the dinner combo for one and I shared that with my 14yo. It was great. They went above and beyond when I couldn't eat the hot sour soup because it was too spicy for me (I used to eat spicy things but cannot as much now that I'm pushing 50), so of course I would have paid for it, and the flavour was perfect but my throat couldn't handle it, so she took it back to kitchen and they diluted it with broth and it was perfect for me to actually eat and take home. Made my day that they were thoughtful and had a solution. Will go again. Highly recommend.

Daamnnnnn! I was surprisingly impressed!! I’m in from Toronto and had a craving for chicken wonton soup, so I ordered two bowls and this was legitimately the best wonton soup I’ve ever had! Big tasty wontons, chunks of chicken and amazing broth. Great, quick take out service. Thank you!

We just ate at the Golden Crown last night. We ordered a set dinner as we wanted to eat family style. Everything was delicious and the service is top notch! It a must for excellent Chinese food in Chatham!

I bought some take-out on Mother's Day, and the restaurant was extremely busy. The team still got my order ready almost exactly for the time I asked, and I was very impressed. The food is great and so is the service and atmosphere!
